
Human Resources Officer
Overall Job Function
The HR Officer will be responsible for HR support to the HRBP on tasks and activities as required by the organization.
Job ResponsibilitiesThe HR Officer position will offer support to the following functions within the HR department:
- Recruitment and Selection
- Assist with the recruitment process in line with EE and company policies
- Support employee onboarding process
- Employee Relations and advisory
- Advise and coordinate the employee relations matters and ensure that they are in line with company policy and labour legislation
- Support with the design and roll-out of new policy and procedure
- Manage employee absenteeism and interventions
- Drafting minutes during disciplinary interventions
- Benefits and Compensation
- Support the employee benefit programme
- Manage the employee Wellness Day
- Manage Company Bursary Program
- Communication
- Draft the slides for the Employee Communication TV and HR Drive
- HRIS
- Responsible for the upload of data on the HRIS tools
- HR Reporting
- Training and Development
- Manage the company bursary program
- Engagement with Tertiary Education Institutions
- Manage the student and graduate program
- Conduct Exit Interviews
- Participate in Audits
- Champion automation and AI-enabled improvements across HR workflow
- Support with the arrangements of company functions
- Diploma in Human Resource Management with +5 years’ experience in a HR Officer position with proven experience in Resourcing, Skills Development, Time Management and Labour Relations
- Minimum of 3 years’ working experience with a HRIS system
- Strong communication, relationship -building and decision-making ability and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
